I dyed my hair purple last night - and made plans with a local hair gal to get it officially dyed purple in 2 weeks for my next orchestra concerts in the middle of May. So itās a MUST that I had to read your newsletter. Love this !! Purple purple purple! āWhen I am an old woman, I will wear purple.ā (Thatās the title of a poem in a book by the same title. Jodi, Iām so happy you love it! š I wrote it exactly for someone like you that is all āpurple purple purpleā! My favorite thing about it is that thereās so many different moods to the color, more so than any other color besides blue (to me). I want to see your purple hair! I swore once I left the military, Iād dye my hair like a rainbow but I havenāt dared yet! I donāt know the poem so Iāll definitely look it up! Thank you for the reference! Youāre going to rock that hair AND the concert!

I love having purple hair. That tiny image of me with the blue shirt & the red looking hair - my hair was actually RAINBOW all the way around last year for about 3 months!! I had it dyed for PRIDE MONTH and kept it going for a while. That was fun. <3 the back was yellow & green. If you look closely on this photo, you can see the blue, purple, red & orange in the little photo. :)

Purple is actually not one of my favorite colors but after reading this and dawdling over the photos, you might be starting to change my mind. Gorgeous little break from reality, as always.
Yay! š It's always fun to experiment a little. The secret with purple is to enjoy the various shades together. Plain purple by itself can be pretty meh sometimes (flat or overpowering), but you start adding in lilac or fuchsia or mulberry... then it gets really pretty or vibrant or sexy. Give me a deep purple couch in a secret dark library with a sexy mysterious vampire any day. LMAO š¤£
