In this edition of Dreamscapes, April arrived wearing purple.

This is the purple that’s been here forever — ancient and ethereal, regal and earthy, blooming right now in someone’s garden and somehow also in the cosmos. It makes everything look like a fairy tale without even trying.

And this month, it was my inspiration. Lavender and plum and violet and every purple in between. Grab your drink, settle in, and let it whisk you away for a while. 💜

Purple is my romance color. It makes me think of a waltz AND the Midnight Court. The softness of a spring sky and the mystery of the universe. A royal princess and a relaxing spa day. Somehow all of those things live in the same color and feel like a fairy tale.

~ Wisteria Hour ~

Layered, luminous, a little haunting in the best way. The kind of music that makes you feel like you’re the main star in a heartbreaking love story. Find a window with some light coming through, press play, and enjoy.

Astronaut Christina Koch gave a speech about how Earth is a crew — and it’s one of the best things I’ve EVER heard. The perspective shift alone is worth three minutes of your life. Also, she’s wearing purple, so it was basically made for this edition.

I took this video at the Lemongarden Hotel in Sutivan, Croatia on the island of Brač. We were just passing through when this wall of purple bougainvillea literally took my breath away. My dream is to stay here for a week someday in the future. What would you do to have a wall like this in your home?
