I loved this list of binge-worthy paranormal romance worlds — it’s a great guide for fans of the genre! I have to say The Keeper’s Wife by John Hatch is one of the best paranormal romance books I’ve read, and its haunted lighthouse love story truly stands out. Author John Hatch blends ghostly mystery and heartfelt romance in a way that rivals even the best paranormal romance books featured here. If you’re craving something atmospheric and romantic, The Keeper’s Wife is a must-read! https://authorjohnhatch.com/the-keepers-wife-best-supernatural-romance-book-of-haunted-hearts/

Oooh, thank you for the recommendation!!! I’ll definitely put this high on my TBR list!! This is such a fun genre yet most of my friends haven’t read much of it, so I thought I’d share my faves. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! 💖

Ah I love the passion with which you talk about this genre! I've never read paranormal romance (I mean romantic love is already maddening without it being paranormal lol) but I have to admit that these book covers are making me reconsider 🔥😜 I'm tempted to read Tempted (no pun intended) because Isadora sounds like my alter ego in the paranormal world! Thanks for introducing me to these books

Do it! You’ll either love it or hate it… but I’m betting you’ll get hooked!

Great breakdown of these series! The way paranormal romance lets characters tackle internal damage while navigating external stakes is kinda genius. I've noticed the fated mate trope works when authors give characters meaningful choice despite destiny nudging them together. Lothaire's arc sounds wild, especially since starting from a place fo unlikeability makes redemption feel earned rather than convenient.

Thanks so much! I honestly wish they made more movies out of paranormal romances, but in the style of The Witcher. That show has the aesthetics down perfectly. I find that the more stubborn the character in their conviction, the more satisfying it is to watch them fall in love. It's irresistible! 🤣

Thank you for all the great recs (and the shout out)- I can’t wait to read them all! I read them so fast that for a minute I worried I would run out of books but I clearly have nothing to worry about. I especially appreciate your write ups on each. It’ll help me decide which order to read them in!

Jessicaaaaaaa!!! Yes, you totally inspired this one! I was like, "I cannot NOT share these with the everyone!" There's no way you'll run out this year, trust me haha! The world building for all of these is really well done. They have similarities, of course, but to me they all feel very different. Can't wait to find out which one's your favorite! 😘

Thank you for all these delicious recommendations! When the world is heavy, I tend to read more romance and cosy mysteries, so I'll definitely be on the lookout for some of your recommendations. I haven't read a lot of paranormal romance unless you count witchy rom-coms.

Which ones are your favorites?? Nothing gives my brain a break like a good book.

I have not read anything in this genre! I have read a lot of paranormal rom coms, which I discovered when reading this, is not the same. 😂

Ohhh, I’d love to know which paranormal romcoms you like! I think maybe I haven’t read any of those?? Haha

Bride by Ali Hazelwood, The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston, The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna, The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling, and Happy Medium by Sarah Adler are all ones I've read!
